Core Lab Facility Opened

The KomIT core lab facility was recently opened providing a unique setting of state-of-the-art equipment for cellular and molecular reseach on the preclinical development of novel anti-diabetic therapies. In addition to a modern cell culture facility and a full set of bio-analytical technologies, the lab has available a cell imaging multimode-reader that combines automated digital microscopy and conventional microplate detection in a configurable, upgradable platform. Early next year, a fully-automated slide scanner will be added to the core lab, providing a unprecedented level of analytical options for exploring the efficacy of novel therapeutic options to combat diabetes.
